ŚŪNYA ŚŪNYA (f.k.a. db0) is a unique collaboration between Joe Steele and British-Indian producer Kiran SKG. It forms the in-house musical operation of broader multi-arts platform ​Śūnya Company. Their music traverses genres from hip-hop, glitchcore, electronic, ambient, jazz, contemporary classical and Indian influences.

Projects include:

 

- ambi-tape EP (2023) - inviting the listener into six colourful sound worlds of choral voices, synths, saxophones, bells, pianos, field recordings and more. The EP is partly inspired by EMDR therapy sessions which Kiran underwent in early 2023. “A six-track joyride through sonic wonderlands…futuristic, left-of-center goodness” - The Pit LDN 

 

- aKRODHA - commission from zerOclassikal, extrapolating Indian raags through a contemprary ambient lens. Studio recording released June 2026 on zerOclassikal's label.

 

- Kaine Francesco's Ascension EP (2025) - ŚŪNYA ŚŪNYA co-production based on the tragic story of Leendert Hasenboch (1695-1725).
